The Web Development View Here
-No flat per-page fees are charged for websites.
We do not charge per page, but by the amount of work, which would include the pages needed to
achieve your business end. Perhaps the best example is where one wants an initial web presence for, at least,
advertising. This can be achieved with a main page. Since links are important for a site, we
include a links page if the design requires it without charging a flat page fee for it. back
-Monthly maintenance is charged only for actual maintenance or hosting.
We attend to the needs of your site, including promotional needs, for a year for
what we charge up front. We only desire fees after publishing if changes to the site are made, or if we host the site
for you. If you would like us to host the site for you, hosting prices start at $8 per month.

-Effective communication includes speed of page display and other technical
considerations.
If your visitor chooses not to wait for your page because he or she
feels it loads too slowly, then you've failed to communicate to the person, regardless of how stunning your page is.
Issues like page loading and navigation must be considered with the realities of web surfing in mind.
Communication to a visitor is not only through the site, but also through the Internet so the visitor can find the site in
his/her searches. Position and even existance in search engines depends not only on issues of site submission to
engines, but also on how the site is designed and written. Thus, search engine technical issues are a design
consideration. At times careful balances must be made between technical and other issues.
back
-You get only the website features you really need for your purposes unless you want more.
Very many sites, especially those for people with smaller needs, can be designed to satisfy
requirements without using various website features. Frames, animation and other things are often not needed or
best used to a very measured degree. About frames in particular we've heard both users and people in webmastery express
frustration. Excessive features not only cost more but also can be problematic in other ways. This
issue often defines a line between something very effective and something that simply "looks great".
back
-You get the level of input you want as to the design.
We like a client to drive the design process as much as he or she wants. A client with a detailed sense of what he
wants is aided in making the vision real in the site. However, we still share with that person our issues of concern,
including any problems we see, so that he realizes his vision while also the site works well in the various ways that it must.
back
-Your site should have the individuality or unusualness you want.
Your identity, including your style and your individual preferences, should show in your site to whatever degree you wish. We, and probably you,
want your site to be "not usual", and with us, the degree to which that is made true is up to you.
back
-You should be able to see what your site looks like as it's being developed.
It benefits all for a web developer to show his client how the site looks from the beginnings of development.
Knowing the site's look is important at the first stages because it is then
that programming and other developmental changes involve the least additional work. This process benefits the client
and the developer by allowing the future owner to know that he will be satisfied with his site.
back
-If you get what you want without unneeded extras, it can be affordable.
This speaks for itself. The consumer appeal of this sort of affordability is not necessarily regarded highly by web developers, some of
whom prefer to push for selling and charging more because they are able to for various reasons. Our logic says that getting a very affordable deal has an appeal to consumers that will work towards our
getting their esteem and loyalty.
